Copper line inventory checklist
A one-page list of what's on each copper line. It's also everything we need to quote the replacement.
Look for
- [ ] Process alarm dialers (tank level, high water, pump fail, gas detector)
- [ ] RTUs and modems
- [ ] Gate call boxes
- [ ] Elevator phones
- [ ] Fire alarm panel lines
- [ ] Fax, guard-shack and dock phones

The phone bill lists every number. Ooma found about 50% of the elevator lines it checked were already dead before migration, so a test call on each line is worth it.
Classified area → V2 Class I Div 2. Fire alarm line → V3 Fire-ready.
